How to Choose the ‘Wright’ Hardware Store

Home improvement projects are expensive, and caring for your home is important. Naturally, you want to ensure that all that time and money is spent in the right place. So, here is a handy guide on choosing the ‘Wright’ hardware store.

Friendly, Attentive Staff

You may not be an expert, so it’s important to find a store that is open and easy to communicate with. Having friendly knowledgeable employees that are willing to be patient with you, and who have the knowledge you seek is the first major sign that a particular hardware store will fit your needs. One great way to gauge a store is to ask around. At Wright, you will find that our staff is here to help you with your project!

Product & Service Selection

This may be a no-brainer, but make sure this store has everything you’re looking for. Gauge the quality of their products as well as their price to ensure you are getting the best value. Cheap most certainly does not make something a good deal, especially if that cheap material or product is being used in your home. Additionally, make sure that the store is willing to work with you. Do they have delivery options? Installation? Flexibility? Make sure you have everything you need to get your project done easily, at your convenience, and at the best price. Your home is important, make sure you get what you need from the business that best fits your lifestyle. At Wright Building Center, you’ll find that we’re more than just your average hardware store. We go above and beyond with our extensive line of rental products as well as our installation services.

Updating Your Cabinets with these Modern DIY’s

Updating Your Cabinets with these Modern DIY’s

Wanting to give your kitchen cabinets a facelift? Wrights cabinets are here to save the day! We have some fun ways to give your kitchen a fresh look.

Adding crown molding to your cabinets.

Do you have extra top space on your cabinets collecting dust?  You can add a little grandeur to your cabinets by adding crown molding at the top. Not only does it help elevate them visually but it will also have the look of custom made. You can achieve this look by creating a framework from 1in by 1in boards, attaching the molding to the frame, and then attaching the frame to the top of the cabinets.

Storage jars visible with a powerful magnet

By mounting a powerful magnetic knife strip under kitchen cabinets you can attach glass storage jars with metal lids to the magnetic strip. Lightweight kitchen goods can be stored in these jars to help add to a beautiful kitchen. Some examples would be marshmallows, dried fruit, chocolate, coffee, etc. This way, you’ve just made storage both visually appealing and functional!

Easy LED Kitchen Cabinet Lighting

Light-weight LED lights have an adhesive on the back. Helping them line up under the cabinets and hide from visibility. These lights can help add a nice touch and update a look while adding a more defined look.  Additionally, lining your cabinets with LED lights will give your whole kitchen a custom feel with the millions of possible color combinations.

Kitchen Cabinet Organizer

Like most families that have an under-sink kitchen cabinet mess, you might benefit from a quick, simple, and ultra-cheap DIY cabinet door organizer. This easy fix can help not only you keep organized but bring a nice updated look to your sink. By mounting a small shelf on the interior of your cabinet door, you will organize the clutter and free up valuable cabinet space that was previously overtaken by the mess.

New Fixtures

Sometimes something as simple as new fixtures can give a nice updated look without replacing the cabinets. The sky is the limit with new fixtures. You can keep a nice modern look with simple new fixtures or install beautiful, ornate fixtures that are sure to catch the eye!

Two-Toned Cabinets

Two-toned cabinets offer a whole world of possibility for kitchen customization. Adding a pop of color can give any kitchen a much-needed facelift.  There are many ways to make two-toned cabinets unique and personal to you. You can paint the upper and lower cabinets different colors, or you can paint the bottom few inches of the upper cabinets the same color as the lower cabinets. The possibilities are endless!

These tips are a great, easy way to update your preexisting cabinets. Wrights cabinets are super easy to customize and update to fit your needs!  To learn more about Wright Building Center and our design products and interior design services we offer, like us on Facebook!
